Read all about what’s new at Dos Rios! In the 2013-2014 school year our middle school students (7th & 8th) will have an opportunity to take elective programs that focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics, STEAM!

My name is Milton Collins, principal at Dos Rios Elementary School located in Tolleson, Arizona. I am very excited to begin my second year as principal of Dos Rios Elementary. My first year was amazing! I am looking forward to another year of impacting lives. We are a Kids At Hope school, and we firmly believe that all children are smart, talented, and capable of success.

Just a little history about myself: I moved to Arizona about five years ago. I spent the first four years at Coolidge High School as an assistant principal for two years and then became principal for two years. I left Coolidge to move closer to my kids who live in Avondale. I have over 17 years of administrative experience with the majority of that experience in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am super excited about another year being principal at Dos Rios.

Working together, we as administrators, teachers, parents, and students can tap into the talents and gifts within each individual. Our talented and dedicated teachers all have the common goal – to maintain high standards in a challenging and supportive learning environment. Through hard work and dedication, along with some old-fashioned fun, these years will be the starting point to many successful years of learning.
